Here is my third collaboration with Nicholas Freeman of Impact X of the alt art card he’s having print for his Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/posts/25356080)
Meet the Artist
Ever since I first started posting drawings on social media, I always wanted to do one of those “#meettheartist” things. After several years of wanting to do one, I finally got around to actually doing one. So here it is! Let me know what you think.
What I’ve been up too (Part 2)
Last week, I wrote about the Jack Marshall comic strips I’ve been working on. This week, I’d like to share with you a couple of pieces that I’ve done recently just for fun.
First up, I’ve been waiting to do more Star Wars: The Last Jedi related drawings, but since I’ve been so busy I haven’t had much time. I really like my design of Chewy in my “HOPE” collage so I thought I’d do a Chewy focused piece. Add in a few porgs and…presto! Ya got a The Last Jedi tie-in drawing!
Next up, the AT-ST Walker.
What I’ve been up too (part 1)
Over the past month I’ve been wildly busy with projects that I’ve barely been able to keep up with it! I’ll be posting updates over the next few days of what some of those projects have been (Note: Some are still under wraps so I can’t say anything about them yet).
Firstly, I’ve continued my work with Screen14 Pictures’ Jack Marshall Can’t Do This which is a transmedia webseries. One of the characters, Donni Lawrence, draws comics and posts them on her Instagram. Below are same of my favorite I’ve done so far (keep in mind a lot of the humor comes from in-jokes from the show). They are drawn by me, and written by Grant & Victoria Hansen.
Jack Marshall Can’t Do This Comics
This fall I have the awesome opportunity of being part of Screen14 Pictures’ webseries, Jack Marshall Can’t Do This.
The show is a transmedia project as it spills out from the show itself and into social media. Donni, who is one of the characters, posts comics satirizing the events of each episode on her Instagram – @donnionthego. I’ve been tasked with ghost drawing these comics for her.
Below is the first comic that I did for the series. The rest can be found under the Comics part of this here website, or by visiting Donni’s Facebook or Instagram

Illustrations for X-Wing Interviews
Recently John Bishop of MakingStarWars.net got the opportunity to interview some of the actors who portrayed various X-Wing pilots from various Star Wars films. To accompany his interviews he asked me to draw the corresponding helmet.
I took this opportunity to continue to hone my digital art skills. Below are the first four helmets with links to John’s interview.
The Force Cult Podcast
This past week I had the absolute pleasure of being on one of the finest Star Wars, nah, one of the finest Podcasts period
The Force Cult podcast is hosted by Travis English, Jeordie White, Jenmarie, and Jip Hubbard. And it was super cool to get to know them a little better. Continue reading The Force Cult Podcast
‘Space Opera’ Prints
A week or so ago I finished my Second Star Wars Collage in what will certainly be an unending series of collages (if Disney has anything to do with it…meaning they’re going to be making Star Wars movies until the end of time…and therefore I’ll be making collages based on them for just as long.)
Anyway, please forgive the exposition and free your pockets of those unwanted dolla’, dolla’ bills.
Your Star Wars: A New Hope print is waiting for you in my lovely shop. Like always 20% of the profits will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Only $12.50!
For a limited time, I’ve also included an option that will let you purchase both the A New Hope, and Rogue One print together for only $18.50! This option is only for cool folks though.
If you’re beyond cool, then there’s also a pre-order option for my upcoming Empire Strikes Back print. If you pre-order I’ll send you exclusive updates as I work on it.
[ Lumberjack Nick’s Shop ] <— be the cool guy/gal and buy a print(s). Thanks!
Happy 40th Anniversary Star Wars!
Monomania | mänə’mānēə | – Exaggerated or obsessive enthusiasm for or preoccupation with one thing.
40 years ago today the world traveled to a far, far away galaxy for the very first time. To celebrate my monomania of Star Wars, I drew my next collage based on a 40 year old movie that the world still hasn’t gotten over.
To celebrate I’m giving away 3 prints of the above collage. For your chance to win just share this post on Twitter, Instagram, and/or Facebook with the hashtag: #SketchWarsANH
And remember, the Force will be with you, always.

Commission Brazil
Last week I had the pleasure of doing not one, but two commissions for Marcio Filho from Brazil.
These were fun commissions to do as Plo Koon is my favorite Jedi, and I’ve been wanting to try my hand at doing more vehicles. (TIE Fighter next?)
Let me know what vehicles you’d like me to try my hand at, and also let me know who your favorite Jedi is in the comments below ✖
